DAY 1
Welcome to Tanzania – Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by an Afrima representative and chauffeured to your elegant lodge in Arusha. If your schedule allows, enjoy an optional guided city tour exploring Arusha’s vibrant markets, the Cultural Heritage Centre, and the dynamic Maasai Market, a perfect introduction to Tanzania’s artistic and cultural richness.

DAY 2
Tarangire National Park – Giants of the Savannah
After breakfast, your private safari begins with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobabs, sweeping vistas, and large elephant populations. Enjoy thrilling game drives through acacia woodlands and along the wildlife-rich Tarangire River. Spot elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, and hundreds of bird species in an open-roof 4×4. A gourmet picnic lunch in the bush is followed by more wildlife encounters before retiring to your luxurious lodge.

Cultural Immersion at Lake Eyasi
Today offers a deep cultural connection with one of the last true hunter-gatherer communities in Africa. After breakfast, travel to Lake Eyasi for a rare opportunity to meet the Hadzabe tribe learning about their hunting techniques, survival skills, and click-language communication. Continue to the Datoga people, known for their intricate beadwork and blacksmithing traditions. This authentic experience offers powerful insights into Tanzania’s living cultural heritage.

DAY 4
Into the Heart of the Serengeti
Today, you journey into the legendary Serengeti National Park. Enjoy game-viewing en route, crossing the Ngorongoro Highlands with a possible stop at the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint. Enter the Serengeti through Naabi Hill Gate and begin your first game drive across golden plains teeming with wildlife. Witness lions lounging under acacias, cheetahs on the hunt, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebra. Arrive at your luxurious tented camp in time for sunset, dinner, and stargazing.

DAY 5
Full-Day Game Drive in the Serengeti
Spend the day immersed in the raw beauty of the Serengeti with a full-day safari, tailor-made to your preferences. Your expert guide will seek out the Big Five, elusive cheetahs, and maybe even a river crossing if timed with the Great Migration. Over 500 bird species and countless mammals await. For an extra touch of magic, add a hot-air balloon safari or guided walking safari (optional, at an additional cost). Return to your luxury camp for an elegant dinner and fireside storytelling under the stars.

DAY 6
Discover the Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend 600 meters into this vast caldera, home to one of the densest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. Enjoy game viewing in this “Garden of Eden,” where sightings may include black rhinos, lions, hyenas, flamingos, and more. After a picnic lunch on the crater floor, ascend and continue to your charming lodge overlooking the highlands.

DAY 7
Farewell & Departure
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast with panoramic views, then check out of your lodge. Depending on your departure plans, you will be transferred to your hotel in Arusha or dropped off directly at Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport. As your safari comes to a close, leave with a camera full of incredible wildlife shots and a heart full of unforgettable memories.
